This air inside the individual foam flakes is trapped. Upon compression the foam will absorb energy. After release of pressure the air will re-expand allowing the mat to recover. The open cell constuction allows water to pass easily trhrough the foam flakes, giving Pro-Play super drainage performance without absorbing any water.

Pro-Play is construction from high quality recycled polyethylene foam flakes, which are heat donded to produce exteremely strong but flexible mats. Pro-Play consists of one or two layers depending ont he degree of impact required, convered by a sythetic grass carpet.
