Winter tees can be tailor-made and offer an excellent playing surface, protecting your grass in the non-growing season, but are so pleasing on the eye as well as highly functional, that many clubs use these as an all year round playing surface. Greengauge winter tees are created from 50mm polyethylene artificial grass, which is UV stabilised and is heat and frost resistant. The tee’s unique shock absorbing abilities are the result of the combined grass surface and the 25mm shock pad that forms the base. Compaction of the surface is prevented by the sand and rubber crumb infill and results in minimum maintenance.
